The quote doesn't fit MLK. Rather, it fits someone else's vision of him. So they missed the mark. Sad.

Maya Angelou said Martin Luther King was an "arrogant twit."

Everyone is taken out of context nowadays. History is past and truth is whatever one makes of it.
