To get back to the original concept of this blog's Music Friday, here are a couple new bands/artists I've been listening to a lot lately. The theme for this week is people who seem to be basically solo artists but who sort of present themselves as if they were bands, a la Nine Inch Nails.
Clue to Kalo - songs that sound like they were recorded over a few weekends in someone's bedroom
You can listen to a few of their (his?) songs at the MySpace profile (I especially like "Seconds When It's Minutes"). Or watch this video for "The Infinite Orphan":

Apparently, My Brightest Diamond is Shara Worden, and Clue to Kalo is Mark Mitchell.
(Thanks to the first commenter on my first Music Friday post for introducing me to My Brightest Diamond by suggesting I'd like her since I liked St. Vincent.)
