Still, Guo said prices are significantly cheaper than in China — a pair of Adidas sneakers costs only $25 at a U.S. outlet mall.
“For that price in China, you can’t even buy counterfeits,” he said.
That's so true! Each time I've been to China I've seen nothing I've really wanted to purchase, and even the Western-brand merchandise I knew I could get cheaper back home.
It's kind of strange.
